Hi! I’m Gunter — a Composer, Producer, and Technical Sound Designer based in Lima, Perú.
I like to think of my sound as driven by unexpected moments, pop vocals, and synthesizers, with a strong focus on storytelling.Over the years, I’ve had the chance to collaborate as an arranger and music director with incredible artists from around the world, including Latin Grammy Award winners such as Susana Baca (Perú), Oscar Stagnaro (Perú), and Totó la Momposina (Colombia). I’ve also performed at some amazing venues, including Palau de la Música in Barcelona, the Paramount Theatre in Boston, and Estadio de San Marcos in Lima — where I opened for the legendary band The Cure in 2023!When it comes to music for media and advertising, I’ve scored over 400 projects for global brands such as Coca-Cola, Oreo, and Huawei. Along the way, my work has been recognized with two Best Original Music Awards from the National Association of Advertisers of Perú, for Huawei – Proyecto Zeus (2018) and Panamericanos Lima 2019 (2019).These days, my main focus and passion is game audio. I’m the founder of Animal Antics Audio, a studio dedicated to helping indie developers bring their games to life through expressive music, immersive sound design, and solid technical audio implementation. We might be a small team (running on coffee, dad jokes, and JRPG soundtracks), but we have a ton of passion and love for games and the people who make them.Finally, I love working with indie artists, helping bring their projects to life through the occasional song collab.
